Our Deep Delta Package Tour
(with or without transportation)

See and learn about the natural history, culture and heritage of the Deep Delta, New Orleans and Plaquemines Parish, in a one day tour. You will be picked up at your hotel between 9:30 - 10:00 am and returned at 5:00 pm, shown a video about the natural and cultural history of south Louisiana and the Modern Delta en-route to or at Woodland Plantation.

Included in your tour of Woodland, you will enjoy a Woodland Punch, naturally made with Southern Comfort or an iced tea. After your tour of the Big House, Mississippi River levee and grounds, you will be served a traditional Louisiana lunch in Spirits Hall.

Next you will cruise through the marsh on Captain Rodney Boudreaux's 20 passenger tour boat or on one of his two smaller air boats, where you will travel through Grand Bayou Village, see Bayou Grand Cheniere and see a fresh water siphon that is helping to restore valuable wetlands.

You will then be taken back the famed New Orleans' Upper Garden District for a tour of the Columns Hotel, a beautiful Victorian home on St. Charles Avenue and served a beverage of your choice for Happy Hour. You may opt to return to hotel via the Historic St. Charles Avenue streetcar.
